Prezzemolina

The illustrated book takes inspiration from Prezzemolina, a fairy tale by Vittorio Imbriani originally published in Florence in 1867. However, the story has been creatively reimagined, with the plot and characters reworked to introduce fresh dynamics and perspectives. The illustrations blend digital and traditional techniques, combining hand-drawn elements with analog stamping. Real-life materials such as leaves and flowers are used in the stamping process, bringing a natural, textured quality to the artwork that complements the re-envisioned narrative.
